I was hoping to share my story and see if anyone has experienced what I have? I'm a 29 year old male and for 7 months now I've had the following symptoms. It all started out of the blue one day while I went to lunch with some coworkers and nearly passed out. I've seen numerous doctors, been to the emergency room twice and have had an EKG(2), MRI Brain, MRI Neck, Chest CT, Abdominal CT, Tilt table and countless blood work from Lymes to

- Lightheaded (Almost Constantly) I try and exercise, sometimes this makes it better sometimes it makes it worse. Somedays it's difficult to get out of bed, because I know 15 minutes into being awake i'll start to feel it. It gets worse when I wait in line.

- Heart Palpitations - Is the worse when I'm lying down trying to sleep. I can feel my heart in my stomach and neck. If looking in the mirror I can see my heartbeat in my neck.

- Nurabness in arms/hanRAB - Is the worst right when I wake up.

- Stomach problems - Seem to come and go. Hasn't been an issue in a couple of months.

- Jaw pops when I move it from side to side.

- Alcohol Intolerance

After all of this I was diagnosed as OCD and GAD. I was put on 2 MG Xanax XR, which seemed to curb the Panic attacks, but do nothing for being lightheaded. This past week I was put on 10 mg Lexapro and I ended up missing 2 days of work because the anxiety seemed worse than ever. Could this all be anxiety? I keep thinking its much much worse. Has anyone had any bad experiences with Lexapro/Xanax corabination?

This is the major issue with mental health, there's no test to decide which medication to take, it's all pretty much "well put you on this and see how you go", I know some people who had to try 15-18 different medications before they found the one that worked for them (don't feel discouraged, its very rare - just wanted to point out you should feel lucky if you find yours after 3-4).

All of the symptoms you've described fit GAD (OCD, not so sure), you've had all the tests done and they found nothing I'm guessing so you can be pretty sure alot of what your feeling is simply in your head - I went through the same stuff, convinced myself I had lung cancer every time I coughed.

I'd suggest you spend some time finding a really good Psychiatrist, getting a good diagnosis and med plan, then finding a good psychologist to help cope with the anxiety. It may take a few meRAB to find the one for you, but keep in mind:
A) MeRAB can take up to 2 months to reach their full effect, so give them time.
B) MeRAB may have side effects, but they're usually nothing compared to depression and panic attacks. I always found it helpful to remind myself "atleast I haven't had a panic attack today".....looking on the bright side helps :)

goingcrazy8 - Just to let you know, SSRIs like Lexapro can cause increased anxiety until your body adjusts to it. I had my first and only panic attack when I started taking Paxil. I have a friend with panic disorder who experienced the same thing and after taking it for 2 weeks, it started working for her. They said it gets worse before it gets better. Hope you are feeling better. Best of luck!
