Health Care Plan Deductible Question?

I just lost my health insurance and need a new plan. I typically visit the doctors office only a couple times a year and am quite healthy so don't expect to be hospitalized at all since I'm only 22. The plan I'm looking at is from kaiser...

The Deductible 40/3000 NM plan has a $3,000 deductible and low monthly premium. $40 copay for preventive care and office visits, and $10/$35 copay for generic/brand prescriptions (all not subject to the deductible). No maternity coverage. It has a monthly rate of $132.

I only plan on using the $40 copay for preventive care and office visits, and $10/$35 copay for generic/brand prescriptions (all not subject to the deductible). So I wouldn't be using any services which require the deductible to be paid first for the discount(xrays, mri, ambulance, emergency room etc).

My question is will I still have to pay the $3000 annual deductible If I don't use the services or would I just be paying the $132 monthly rate???
