HEALTH AND FITNESS PPL!!! I need some help with exercises! PLEASE?

Okay. Im 16 my height is 5'8 and i weigh 140lbs. You prob think that's a good weight for my height etc etc but last year I weighed 125 and Id really really love to be back at that weight. Because most of my weight goes right to my stomach and my thighs. (where their at now...uhg)
So i want to get a exercise routine worked in to my life every week. But I don't know what exercises to do. Would running be the best this to work off a gut and burn some fat in your thighs??
Im up for anything (: I know i need to change my diet. I snack alot so I blame that. (lol i eat alot of veggies..hehe)
So what exercises should I do? Im wanting to lose 15 lbs and stay there. PLEASE!! Id like to burn it off in 2 weeks if i can. If not ill go for 3.
