HS, I have a Palm Centro and am very unhappy with it in terms of retaining a charge. If I have it off-charger for 8-12 hours, it runs down. So far down, in fact, that it turns off the cell phone. The screen is black when this occurs and there is no audible notification. You find out when you want to make a call/check a contact/calendar -- the phone will not power up until it's charged for about 15 minutes. I have returned it to Verizon, first for a new battery, then for a new phone. There was going to be something called an "FRU exchange fee" (even though the phone was not 12 months old) of $50 but after some discussion Verizon waived it. I have a new battery and now a new phone (as of June 1); but I still have the charging problem. I was told to turn off my Bluetooth when not using the phone, as it "drains the battery" -- but even if I do that, it discharges too rapidly. I'd love to know if anyone else has this problem, because Verizon denies that any problem like this exists.
