Head Injurie

Hey sorry if i am posting this on the wrong forum i just didn't see this subject anywhere else..

My question is about 7 years ago I got in a really bad car accident where i was sitting in the back seat my friend driving was doing about 45 mph when he hit the back of a stopped mini van totaling his car, i wasn't wearing my seat belt so i shot forward hit my head on the roof of the car. we all knew the guy didn't have a Drivers license so we ran, so that means i didn't get medical attention and to this day I worry that I may of damaged my head or brain or that down the road I'll end up paralyzed or brain damaged. Should i go get a cat scan of my head or get my head and neck checked out?

I didn't get it checked out right away because i remerabered everything that happened i was coherent enough to get out of the car and run so I thought I would be fine, but now I look back and kind of worry.
 
If you had any kind of brain injury or concussion you would have known immediately...Highly unlikely that your bump to the head caused anything that you wouldn't have noticed right away. About 22 years ago...my head was smashed in by my boyfriend...(skull cracked)...I did go for X-rays, etc...and nothing is wrong...at the time I suffered from a concussion..that was about it...so you are fine!
 
I believe that your health and safety comes first. If you are that concerned about your health, by all means see a doctor.
