he wants to have sex, what should i do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months now and I think i'm ready to have sex with him. He told me last night that he was ready to have sex and that if I was ready then we should do it. We've both had sex before with other people.
I love him and he loves me. We've been through a lot and he's always stood beside me and I've always stood beside him. Through him getting arrested to my dad dying, we've been there for each other.
I'm ready to take that next step in our relationship, i'm afraid that if we do have sex though, that things between us night change. And i don't want that to happen. I don't really know how to tell him that i'm ready to have sex.
I'm very much aware of the possible consequences of having sex. And i know that there's a possibility of getting pregnant.
How should i tell him? What should I do? Please help.
 
if u really luv him go 4 it! its not like its ur 1st time n e ways you should also protect your selves if u do have sex cuz' a 6 month relationship could still go south

my big bro was with a gurl for 6 months and it went horibly wrong. and im pretty sure that having sex was what made the relationship end up in the trash
