I've a good friend that I chat online quite often(we are so busy with our lives, we get to chat online more often than face to face talk, it's all okay), and I can't say I don't any any feelings for him.
He's an amazing guy to talk to. He gives me wonderful pep talks when I'm feeling down, he advises me when I am confuses, he entertains me with his great sense of humor when I'm bored, and he even has a knack for flirty/naughty talks when the mood is right.
After a short(around 10 minutes of "how are you?" talk) conversation, we just say bye and leave, but whenever we get to have long(anywhere from an hour to a few hours) conversation, we sometimes would type in things like *hugs* to each other(after all, I'd really love a hug from him when he cheers me up!
) One time, I typed <3 sign in, and he also typed back <3
I don't know, what do you think his meaning was when he used <3?
1) He's just being sweet, don't over-think it.
2) Considering the fact that guys usually don't use that heart sign, maybe he likes you back.
