He says my name during sex. Does it mean anything?

I have a friend with benefits and we've slept together a couple times now. We've liked each other for a while before we started anything physical but never really talked it out. We chat pretty often on the phone even after we started sleeping together, mostly about how we're doing and what we've been up to. Then recently he started coming up with new nicknames for me and calling me by them and uses them pretty often. I didnt think much of it until a couple days ago when I realized he was whispering my nickname while we're doing it. By this I mean through out the act, not just at the very end. I've had a couple other friends with benefits before but none of them really acted this way. At one point he asked if i wanted to "make love" instead of saying sex. I don't know if he said it on purpose or if it was a slip of the tongue. I just want to know if I'm over analyzing it or if it actually means anything. Is he just messing around with me? I really don't care if he's seeing other people, but if this thing we have going on between us is becoming more than physical then I would like to know.
