He hasn't texted me after our first date.... bad news?

I went on a date with a guy yesterday, although I was very shy I still kissed him and I thought he had a good time... I mean I was basically on him in the movie haha
Anyway he texts me right after I leave and asks why my dad was giving him this weird look and I told him that my dad is weird and to forget about it and I had a good time. He said me too and we should do it again and I said yes definitely and he said he couldn't wait

ok so it's been a WHOLE DAY and he hasn't texted me
was he just being nice? idk im paranoid this is my very first date haha please help!!!
 
It's only been one day and from how you describe the date it was a good one. This also depends on how often he normally texts you. You may just be paranoid about this. He may be worried about your dad and if he would let him take you on another date. I would text him in another day or two and have a little bit of a plan of what to do on the next date and ask him when he wants to. If you don't get anything back then it may mean something, but don't worry yourself to death cuz it's been a day since he texted you.
