Try removing "tracker." from the announce URL. For example:

Old URL
http://tracker.hdchina.org/announce.php?passkey=xxxxx...
New URL:
http://hdchina.org/announce.php?passkey=xxxxx...

If you use uTorrent, you can highlight all HDChina torrents, right-click one of them, and edit the address for that one - all others will be modified as well.

I've registered to HDChina and I'm trying download little files to earn 1500 points in 7 days. But all the torrents are red and writes HTTP Error 500 or Tracker Sending Invalid Data . I've uploaded at least 20 gigs in one night and tracker shows me just 9 gbs. I'm using the latest version of utorrent. Does anyone have the same problems?

i had the same issue. i permanently allowed some ip's in peerblock and it was downloading normally.

however, the movie i wanted to get was downloading so slow that i had to get it from another tracker.

there's no way i'd get 1500 points in 7 days anyway

Try to change the tracker http://tracker.hdchina.org/********* into http://hdchina.org?***
Just delete the word "tracker." and update the torrent.

400 GB uploaded and ratio 101 has given me 548 points.
So, they wanted new users to upload 1 TB in 1 week? Ah well, seems they changed the rules to "disabled account if no activity within first week". Still, seems stupid to implement it in the first place.

This is the DUMBEST idea in the history of Torrent and man-kind. Points?! 1500 at that? Download up to FORTY or FIFTY torrents at once and seed continuously 24 hrs for 7 days straight? Do I have this info right?

I thought the consensus was that HDChina was one of the elite HD trackers. From browsing and seeing what they offer along w/ the # of seeders/leechers, and w/ this cockamamie point system signup, I'd say it's on par w/ the lower-end of HD trackers. And as far as Chinese trackers go, I'd place CHDbits and HDstar above, as well.

Very disappointed and agree w/ what everyone else is bitching about, too.
