Using my IDGEAR card reader, I tried to open some .mov files I recorded with a JVC camera in Quicktime. I also tried to edit them together in iMovie and Final Cut Express. When I tried to open them in Quicktime, the program told me the files could not be played because they were missing some sort of technology. The sound played, but there was no video to go along with it. (I have the latest available version of Quicktime.) iMovie wouldn't recognize the files, and Final Cut Express said it was missing codec. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the video to show up? Or what's wrong?
