Hayden to Ducati announcement very soon

You are quite the buffoon. If you knew anything about GP racing you'd know that Puig stuffed Pedrosa down HRC's throat. You'd also realize that Hayden won the championship with only 2 wins during the season. He was the most consistent podium finisher in 2006, not necessarily the best rider.

Pedrobot was new in 2006 and clearly HRC's "future". And look how he's repaying HRC now. Whining like a girl. This past weekend he did 11 test laps at Brno and got off the track cursing the horrible Michelin tires. Hayden would have put in 110 laps with those tires had they asked. His work ethic is unmatched in the GP paddock.

And don't call Rossi names. Doing so demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of motorcycles and the talent it takes to ride one at that level. Rossi is the greatest motorcycle racer of all time. He will leave Agostini in his wake.

Bigger question I have about the Hayden \ Ducati relationship. What tires will Nick be on? He's long been one of Michelin's top riders. Will he be sporting a red hat on the podium next year? Or will we have a divided garage like the Fiat Yamaha team?

My guess is he would definitely be on Bridgestones if he goes to Ducati.

Dani IS quite the little bitch isn't he? Talk about making excuses for poor results, or crashing. Pedrosa is the king of the excuses! It's never his fault he doesn't do well.

I think Pedrobot is building a nice little reputation for himself. He crashes his team mate out of the championship in 2006. He crashes while leading a wet race by 7.5 seconds, costing him a shot at the 2008 championship. I mean, when your pit board shows Casey Stoner 7.5 seconds behind you and it's raining, perhaps you dial it back in a few notches???? You read about his little tantrums over tires and engines and how Hayden is of no use to him in testing. And now I hear Puig is trying to block Dovizioso from coming to the HRC squad because he'll blow Danny's doors in. I just don't like the whole Danny Pedrosa Camp. He is a little bitch.

After this season I don't know why any rider in the paddock would want to stick with Michelin. It's just hard to envision Nicky on Bridgestones. The same way I can't get used to Rossi wearing a red hat on the podium

I really doubt that Honda chose to develop the bike for Pedrosa just b/c he is Spanish. That's just silly. I'm sure during all the testing they were doing in the offseason had Pedrosa as the much faster rider. Where rider weight does make a huge difference, Rossi has clearly shown that pure talent/skills and consistency can close that gap. being able to turn the fastest lap time does not make you the best rider int eh world. Look at tony elias, he's got 25lb advantage over rossi and is on the much faster bike. see him ahead of rossi much? weight does make a difference but if you can't ride at that speed then it does you no good to be lighter.
there's a huge difference in skills/talent between the first 3-4 top riders and the rest of the field.

Also, yes hayden was faster then Pedrosa on the 990 but that was Pedrosa's rookie year. it takes some riders years to adjust. look at jorge lorenzo, dude can't finish a race without crashing.

It usually seems like getting older really sucks in a major way. One thought on age though, at least when things aren't quite as they should be you can always look back and remember when things were either way better or significantly worse. I was fortunate enough, like a few others here on the forum to have seen Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey and then Kevin Schwantz dominate GP roadracing. A couple of Aussies managed to break the streak, but still Americans dominated for many years. I would love to see Nicky do well on the Ducati and I really wish that AMA Roadracing would start producing some real threats to get over across the pond and start competeig again. I read a little about some of the changes coming to AMA roadracing and do believe that it is time for change. Maybe Nicky can get on track and bring back the dominance that we once enjoyed. And hopefully the AMA roadracing series can elevate once again. And If Nicky is able to do it on the Ducati, well it just can't get much better than that!

Elton is just stirring the pot....

I don't think that HRC just developed the '07 bike for him. I think the "typical Spanish attitude" is one of self-importance and promotion. Just check out football or cycling or any other sport and it becomes clear that the Spanish look out for the Spanish. I am not saying it is right or wrong, just a simple fact....

And Pedrosa continues to exhibit the complaints and whining I see in their cyclists tume and again...it is never their fault, it is always the conditions, or the bike, or the mechanics, or the tires, anything but their own bad selfs......

Oh well, I'm outta this thread...it's headed in the crapper quick.....was nice while it lasted....

What a dumbass,

You say that Pedrosa was a better rider on the 800 based on testing right? Well Im pretty sure Honda designed the bike before they did any of the testing....of course I am stating the obvious which you seemed to have missed altogether. Point is, the little guy was faster than Hayden because the bike was built around him from the start. We are talking about 3 million dollar bikes. You make it sound like Honda built production based GP bikes that would suit most any riders...uhhh I think not. Every single piece is specific the the riders size, style and input. In this case mostly Pedrosa's specs. This input was used to produce both of their bikes and it simply did not fit Haydens size or style of riding. If you did not know, Honda had been grooming Pedrosa and supplying him with bikes since the age of 14 and always has been "the chosen one". You are right on one point, Honda was absolutely going to try and win the 07 title....just with Pedrosa not Hayden. They had been saying this for three years already. Where have you been?? Also, there was innuendo that Hayden was on the way out after 06 and the only reason Honda kept him on, and for obvious reasons, was because he won the Championship. They had to keep him after 06'. Truth is they have been looking to deal him away for some time now and that is why Pedrosa went straight away to the #1 position in Honda since his arrival. By the way I also love the way you state that you refuse to involve yourself in the personalities of the sport then proceed to tell us how much you hate/love 3 different riders. wtf??? I also like the way you insist Honda should have done this, should done that or that you would prefer Ducati take Gibber or tested Hayden first...I'll be sure to pass that along to the folks at Ducati.
