About time. HRC was really screwing Hayden around. Hopefully he'll be able to tame that Sedici next year, otherwise the #2 Ducati seat will look like Spinal Tap's drummer's chair...

It really hard to tell what is the bike and what is Hatden, but with most athletes change can be good, he'll be number two with less pressure to perform which may allow him to just ride. Very cool!

I've been a Nicky fan for years, since he was riding RC51's in superbike. I'm a Honda fan too, and own one that I love, but HRC was not taking care of him, or working to get him a bike he could actually ride. They were devoting all of their development towrds Frodo (Pedrosa). Now that he is going to Ducati I couldn't be happier! He also has the dirt track background like Casey. Hopefully that will pay off for him and he will be able to ride the bike well, and get some good results. We know someone else can finally ride the GP8 now since Elias did so well at the last race. Hopefully Nicky will have good results with the GP9. I think this is just what Nicky needs, a fresh start without all the pressure. Now it's even easier to root for him too because not only is he an american, and my favorite racer, but now he'll be on a Ducati too. GO NICKY!!!

That's awesome, I have always liked Nicky ever since I saw him at Daytona with the all new RC51(At that time). I am sure he will do us proud on the Duc!! Go Nicky #69!!!!!

I think the biggest factor right now in motogp amongst the top 4-5 riders is rider weight. if you look at the two fastest riders, pedrosa and stoner, they weigh much less then rossi or hayden. i believe stoner weighs in at 127lbs and pedrosa at a mere 112lbs. rossi weighs in just under 150lbs and hayden at just over 150lbs. That's a huge weight difference! and the fact that rossi can keep up with those guys for the most part(with the slower bike) is a testament to his skill as a rider.
