My friend and I have been using voice chat via STEAM with headsets, but we recently started having a problem. Whenever I talk, my voice comes back through his side of the chat. In fact, all of his sound is being directly ported though his mic. So every time windows or STEAM dings/makes noise, I hear it. We have also tried yahoo voice chat, and the problem persists. He even tried a different headset. I think he is using a Logitech ClearChat Premium PC Headset (it’s a 3.5mm or 1/8” not USB) Anyone have a clue what could be the problem, or even a term to search. We are pretty well stumped.
