Having voice chat and server connect issues on PS3 online gaming...?

Everytime i try to play Madden 10 i can't use voice chat with all my settings correct for headset. Tried bluetooth and wired headset. I also disconnect alot from games. I have had problems in the past with other games as well. I did a internet connection test and it says im NAT 2 but i never changed anything on my router or ps3. I thought NAT 2 means i shouldn't have any problems. Router is Belkin f5d8236-4v1
