Okay, the first issue was with Firefox.
Firefox completely refuses to turn on referrer headers. I go into About:Config and change the number thing to 2 or 1, go back to the page that I was having trouble viewing due to disabled headers, and nothing works. I look back at the config page: Firefox automatically turns them back off. It's aggravating.
To combat the problem, I downloaded Google Chrome (which I don't mind using, but I prefer Firefox). It works fine, but I can't turn off the little suggestions/predictions the address bar makes. I did exactly what Google told me to do -- I disabled the "use prediction service" and then cleared all my history from forever. It refuses to listen and still gives suggestions in the bar. I could just use an incognito window every time, but that's just irritating and gets bothersome.
Help with either of these issues and I'll be extremely grateful and you will all be awarded ninety cookies apiece. -salute-
