Having trouble removing valve cover gasket on 1997 Honda Passport?

We have already removed the upper intake the egr and the coil pack. then the 5mm allen bolts on the covers them self. there are 10 bolts I think. We have the valve cover kit with the spark plug seals in it and an upper manifold kit. The valve cover is still not coming off...are we missing something or is it just a pain to get off?

The gasket could be holding the cover ,give the cover a sharp tap with a hammer onto a piece of wood .

If you are 100% sure you got all the bolts, tap it with a rubber mallet.
