having trouble gettin htc droid eris to change prl

ive got the htc sync(droid eris update) and activesync

I've done the ##3424# and send to get diag mode but those drivers aren't letting me connect to workshop, any ideas?

then for full flash going to use ryanmoguls pst settings and cabs, but can't do that without being able to load the prl lol

i've tried googling and using the search, maybe im doing it wrong
 
no no thats not the issue registered cdmaworkshop would show and if the drivers were to work I'd be able to see the port in device manager which I don't
 
Do cabs work on Android? I could be wrong but I thought that .apk was the file type for packages on android phones..............

You need ABD drivers and HTC DIAG drivers homey. Let me know if you get cricket carrier cab to work.................................... :D
 
mind pointing me in direction of those? I've tried searchin for the diag ones for the eris, found ones for touch pro and below

ABD? google popped up with some wierd responses to that one lol

now I wonder if transfering the cab for wap/mms that was used on the touch pro onto it after using the pic/arcsoft removal cab

then pst settings

I have an Eris sitting in front of me right now, I'm getting ready to tackle it, but so far I haven't found any information on how to unlock the mms settings.
I'm going to use ##778 to write Ryan Mogul's PST Settings and update the PRL. You can change MIP to SIP under M.IP Settings. I will post my results as soon as I find an MMS solution!
 
My post count is nil, but I can confirm wap/talk and text using the hero method. I was able to do one today :)
You guys (and ladies) rock!
 
Awesome!!! I got the Hero and the Eris...both of them Talk,Text and Web...I know there is no way to get MMS working in the Hero but..What about in the Eris?....I can get into the MMS settings but they are blocked...does anybody have changed these settings succesfully?....I will appreciate any advice...
 
I have an Eris on Cricket. Had it about 3 weeks. some apps are quirky in terms of connecting but the weird thing is I can receive mms no problem just cant receive them. If you disable the mobile network and open messages you can access the settings for mms. they are not greyed out and changeable. As far as them sticking I doubt it but like I said I can receive pics just cant send them. Just set name to cricket mms, MMSC: http://mms.mycricket.com.servlets/mms(basically replace vtext with mycricket), I made mms proxy 8080 and left port blank.
