having sex with torn ACL?

i tore my acl last week, and my girlfriend keeps asking when we r gonna have sex for the first time. i want to really bad, but i cant because the doctor said they wont do surgery if i just keep it still and dont try and move. if i make one false move, ill have surgery and im afraid that i will move it wrong while having sex with her. how could i pull this off without having to go into surgery??? thanks
