I upgraded my black berry curve to the Motorola droid yesterday. Not even had it 24 hours, and so far I really think I hate the thing! I can’t make to the Verizon store for a few days so I hope someone on here can help me. My husband also got a droid yesterday and has NONE of these problems!
The internet is super slow! 3G my butt! My blackberry internet was a lot faster, and I keep getting told there is a connection problem.
When someone calls me after about a minute they can’t hear me at all. If I hang up and call them back the connection is fine. If they call me back it happens again.
Texting is really getting annoying, but this of course could be b/c this is a touch screen phone. Although I had 1 other for less than a month a few years ago (the voyager) and ended up giving it back to Verizon b/c it sucked.
I can’t figure out how to forward text messages. Does anyone know how to do this?
When I got the phone they set it up so that my notifications from facebook will come to my phone. Well they don’t. Also when I check my facebook on there it doesn’t show any new notifications like it would on my blackberry or on the website.
Like I said within 24 hours of having this phone, it’s getting irritating!
Maybe a touch screen isn’t for me? Or could it be this phone? I originally was going to get an Iphone, but my hubby talked me into the droid b/c when I played with one it was super cool. Anyway, if this touch screen phone isn’t working out for me… Could I just not be the type that likes a touch screen phone?
