Having fun with Dick and Jane

Went to see this at the cinema on friday, haven't laughed so hard at a film since Monster-in-law.

I really really REALLY recommend everyone seeing this film. Top laughs garenteed!

I haven't seen this yet, I do like Tea Leoni, she's funny, sometimes Jim Carrey is a bit too over the top though. I'm glad you enjoyed this, sometimes you just have to see a funny movie. I was a huge fan of the original with Jane Fonda and George Segal. Loved that one.

I like lots of Jim Carrey stuff.. saw this film Saturday night, wasn't expecting much after most reviews only gave it 2 stars. All I can say is WHAT? How did they even give it 2 stars??? Its easily one of the most rubbish non funny films I have ever seen - utter sh*te imo avoid.

What do critics know. I never lsisten to them I go and see a film myself and then make up my mind. It all sounRAB rather good from what the first poster said. I am not wild about Carey but I'm a fan of Tea Leoni's. (Hige fan of her hubby David Duchovny too) I know she got hurt a few times on this movie. Ripped some shoulder muscles in the scene where she leaps over the counter/falls over it. Ouch!!

I thought it was dire. I hated Monster-In-Law too though so clearly we don't like the same type of films!

I normally like Jim Carrey films, and the trailers for this looked brilliant, but I was very dissapointed with this film. That's not to say it was a terrible film, it just needed a lot of work, while there were a few laughs there weren't nearly enough, and the script could have been a lot better.

Didn't like the ending either, I know Alec Baldwin lost a lot of money (just that deposit though, he still had all the money he'd had before) but they made him out to look like a hero to the public.

Could have been so much better.

Had a really miserable Saturday and thought I would never smile again that was until I watched Fun with Dick and Jane. Great film, just love Jim Carey (apart from Mask ). Highly recommend to anyone who is having a bad day!
