Hi all...I haven't been posting lately..just reading a bit...and waiting to fuse..hopefully. Had a revision on my failed SI joint fusion on Dec. 10...and went in March for CT scan...was starting to fuse a bit then....now going for 6 month CT scan to see if I am really fusing...... I still hurt in the surgery area and if I do too much walking it really starts aching..... This is causing me concern. Sitting is an issue also...again if I stay sitting too long...the ache starts up. My leg and the famous little toe are no longer hurting...thank goodness....for that I am thrilled. My toes on the left foot are nurab??? Have no idea why....should I mention this to my surgeon??? It was the right SI joint I had the surgery on.... I no longer have meRAB. for my back...and because I don't...my Fibromyalgia kicked up....wow...didn't realize that the meRAB. were killing the pain from that...so I went back to my Fibro Dr....and he is giving me muscle relaxor for evening/xanax for night sleep and 2 lortab (5 mg. for pain during the day) What a come down on the meRAB!! But I am grateful for what I have....it helps a bit. So for now...I wait...go next week for the CT scan... Will post the results of the Dr. visit. Have a good night!!

Sage,

I know what you've been through with this experience, and I hope your CT scan shows you've fused just fine. Also, I hope your doctors can figure out your pain/nurabness issues and get those under control so you can have a better quality of life. Definitely mention the nurabness and any other symptoms you're having to your doctor, even if they don't seem significant.

Take care and keep us updated,

Brenda

Thanks Brenda.....I will be seeing Dr. next week....and hope all is well...that is all I can do for now...

How are you doing? Is your back setteling down?

Take care....

Sage,

Make sure that you mention that your toes are nurab. They need to know that. It means you have compression on that nerve so it's cutting off feleing in your toes.

Got my fingers crossed for you, dear. Hope it turns out OK.

the toes that are nurab are on the left foot.....the fusion was on the right side....could they actually be involved???? oh gosh....please....NO....this is a continuing nightmare..... Like everyone else...all I want to do is feel like me! Don't really believe that is ever going to happen... How are you doing Ibake??? Thanks for the thought....I will reluctently (sp wrong???) mention this to my surgeon....
Take care..
Leslie
