Actually, I'm having 2 problems with Java, now that I think about it...
The first one is the really weird one, though. For some reason, the text on many things, like my radio buttons on different programs, is only partly there. Like I'll see "Insta" instead of "Install" or "Canc" instead of Cancel, or "N" rather than "No". Any idea what that is or how to fix it?
The other problem is speed... Java is killing me on speed! I realize it's not exactly the fastest thing in the world, and I realize that my computer is not all that great, but I've never had it run this slow before. When I try to check my bank account online, I have to wait for anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes for the app to come up, and when I try to install something that requires Java to install, often all I'll ever see is the outline of the box and I'll never see any text or anything (which is really bad if I'm supposed to click on something but don't know because I can't see it).
My computer is a P.O.S., Frankenstein:
MotherBoard: First International Computer, Inc. P4M-800T PCB 1.x
CPU: 2.60 gigahertz Intel Celeron
RAM: 1GB DDR
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3650
All drivers and security updates are up to date... If you need to know anything else, let me know.

Thanx, but it seems that I forgot to mention one tiny detail that could be somewhat important... I just reinstalled Windows yesterday and used KillDisk and their 3 pass DoD wipe first.
