Having a hard time letting go..

Im still holding on to my 6620 as a back up, it still works great but just looks so beat up. Its my mistake in letting others borrow it. I called NokiaUSA.com and asked if they can replace the cover for me. They said they minimum charge for repairs is $100. And they cant even tell me if its doable or not.

I tried ebay and only one guy that seems to know what he's talking about and selling a housing just for 6620 (he stated only 6620 not 6600). I look into it more and it seems pretty good but it came in different colors, dark grey, silver and all black. Which made me question those a bit.

Is there really no other way for me to fix up my 6620?
 
6620 housings were a ***** to find even when the phone was fairly new, now you are DEFINITELY going to have trouble. I loved my 6620, in my top 3 for best phones I've ever owned. If they left the form factor the same, with a slightly larger screen and better camera (and of course newer OS), I'd be all over it!

That's what Nok should do, a 'retro' line... maybe an Original N-Gage (or a QD) with a 3.2mp CZ Camera for example!

i can get the faceplates, but they are not cheap....i have sold a few on ebay for $50.00 plus shipping
