pinkslip? In college back in 2001 I bought a 2000 streetbike to get around on. Payments were very cheap but I stopped working and couldn't afford it anylonger. The repo person never came and I kept telling myself I'd pay it off after college. The balance was around 5k but as time went on I never did. I still have it and the DMV sends the renewel every year still in my name and it says Yamaha as the bank holder. The bike is probably worth 2k but getting old and I wanna get rid of it. I'm sure no one will take it without the pinkslip. What should I do? Call yamaha and see if they have the acct on file still? And what do I do if it has all these late charges causing the payoff to be a crazy amount? Oh and The bill which was a Yamaha credit line up to 8k isn't on my credit anylonger. Please with info anyone. Thanks
Guess you didn't read the part about it not showing my credit. I've bought and traded a few cars and opened a line of credit with no prob. Trying to rob them lol no. Just haven't taken the time to call them. I see ur view but if I was trying I wouldn't be trying to get it resolved. But thanks
Yeah Jim back in 04 05 the payoff was around 5k. The bike is ten yrs old so I'm guessing around 2k value. I don't mind paying back my dues but I put it off in fear of them adding all these crazy late fees and interest. 5k is one thing but an extra 5k is another. Especially if I'm tring to get rid of it.
