Well, brushing your teeth is something that you shouldn't take lightly. Decaying food that might get caught between your teeth may rot your teeth and cause you serious health problems that you don't want to mess with.

Good thing you have decided to change things!

My only suggestion would to continue brushing your teeth for at least 2 times daily- after everytime you eat is better, wayyy better.
Flossing is a MUST!

That black stuff between your teeth is probably cavities, in fact, I'm sure of it. Sorry. You'll have to go get those filled so all of the teeth with cavities don't rot away. They won't ever go away until you have them filled.

Use mouth wash and toothpaste that have extra whitening agents in them, and you can get some pretty high-strength stuff from a dentist.

You can go to a dentist and get some good whitening treatments as well. You can do some at-home whitening treatments too.

All in all, your teeth may be perminantly stained from the years of neglect. You can make them slightly better, but they may never be white again.

First thing is to brush and flose, everyday sometime twice a day. Also find a dentist and make an appt. The dentist office will do the usual cleaning and x-rays,its not that bad I know myself it scares me too,but dental health goes hand in hand with your over all health,if you don't have Dental Ins. or cann't afford it look online for dentist that will allow payments overtime or a Dental school nearby they have discounts because the are students supervised by Accredited Dentist. Also maybe check with local community services they maybe able to help you.Do it soon because the black stuff is causing build up that will cause cavities and plague.

I suggest that you see a dentist, and if your teeth are to far gone to save them, you can have them all extracted. Then you obtain dentures, take them out at night and place them in a jar with denture cleaner, and not worry about brushing them....... again.

I beg to differ, false teeth need to be taken care of too. You need to brush false teeth, keep in clean container with clean solution. Also brush gums too.
