Ok I tried debranding my Curve 8320 and all the thing will do now is blink the LED red (small indicator light on top right corner)? What is a lameo like me to do? I think I traved to far into a land I had no business going. Oh, and I took the battery out and still red, red, and more red. I hope some one can help me save myself from myself. One other thing, the screen is dark and it was an unlocked T-Mobile phone and my service is AT&T.

How many times does it flash before there is a longer time off?

You probably just need to reload your OS. Once you locate the sfi file for the OS version you are running, you can try loading it with "cfp.exe -u load sfi_filename.sfi" You should find it in a folder under "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\"

You might run "cfp.exe -u info" just to see what you can see.

OK I am a noob and I can't attach the link or paste it here...so lets try this:

This is what I tried: www extremeskins com / showthread.php?p=6126348 (but add some .'s and remove a few spaces)

You can search this forum and figure out how to manually create a custom VSM branding file using a hex editor or you can register to use the easy online custom branding file creator by either making a donation or by completing a TrialPay offer.

If you don't get any results searching for *.sfi in c:\program files then you probably need to download and install the device software for your BlackBerry.

Hello! Could you (or someone else) tell me which VSM file I should use for BlackBerry Bold on Vodafone UK (Vendor ID: 120) please? I have tried a few but with no success.

I hope someone will find the following information useful:
VSM-19280-003 (BlackBerry Bold, Vodafone Australia)
VSM-19801-003 (BlackBerry Bold, Vodafone Ireland)
VSM-20429-003 (BlackBerry Bold, Vodafone Italy)

Thank you very much!
