I am reading it in class, but I forgot my book and I don't know how to answer these questions without first going back to look in the book. And these questions are due tomorrow. If you have read this book, then this should be 10 easy points. Ok, here it goes:

1. What is the story of the Twenty Four legends about?
2. What happened to Pan's daughter?
3. What is the irony of the god's supremacy in this chapter?
4.What does the goddess of Guan Yin do for the people?
5. On page 23, what do we learn of Lalu's father's business transactions?
6. What is the symbolic meaning of the sparrow's death?
7. What is the significance of Lalu's unbinding her feet?
8. In what ways is Nathoy treated like the head of his home?
9. Why won't a villager want to marry Lalu?
10. Why is she neither snake or dragon?
Ok, so I think I know the answers to numbers 5, 7,8, 9 .
5. He decide to plant winter wheat
7. In order to not get sold.
8. He gets to have the first meal.
9. she works in the field
