HEy,
I've had some relief from the allergy perspective, but they always have made the air very dry and (for me) has made my sinus clog up more than usual. With that being said, unless your apartment omits an abundance of dust and mold, I'd say get one, because it does provide relief.
I've used 3 different branRAB, and quite honestly the ionic ones seem to do the trick for me. Becuase of the extra amount of dryness in the room, I got a humidifier which almost eliminated my allergy symptoms and congestion. I could fall asleep faster and stay asleep, with very minimal morning congestion..and wasn't so puffy. I'd say if you have carpets, I'd use them in those areas occasionally. Make sure its a true hepa filter, and go to wallyworld because they have a great refund policy if it wasn't helping. Definitely something to look into though.
It doesn't need to be ran constantly, just when you feel or notice more than average amounts of dust, dander, and mold in the area. Hope that helped.
