Have you ever worked at a fast food place?

I've worked at a McDonald's in and it was horrible. The customers were always yelling at you and wherever you work it's filthy. I worked there for most of my 10th grade year in high school and quit cause the pay was so low and it was just not beneficial at all. And sure you get free food but you can only choose a limited amount of itmes on the dollar menu. After a while the food tastes like crap and the smell of burgers make you want to throw up.

On the bright side, I made a few good friends and learned how to operate a cash register. However, I personally would not recommend working at a fast food place. Try to steer clear of big chain restaurants.
 
I worked for two and a half years at Chick-fil-A

I loved some of it and didnt like some of it.

The crew was around my age so that made it fun at night. Some of the customers were regulars and nice. CFA is supposed to be a little nicer than some of the other fast food places so the atmosphere was "it is my pleasure" when we handed out food

After about two months the free food gets old. Some of the customers are rude or vulgar or look down on you because you work in fast food. The uniforms arent the best but atleast your not ruining your clothes. Your on your feet for hours on. It was definetely less boring than retail because I like to keep busy and it felt less monotmous than refolding a pile of sweaters for hours on end.

Unless I had to I wouldnt go back because I want to make a little more money but I enjoyed working there when I did in high school
