You get some yobbo and his cretinous pal flogging a stolen car around a city in a dangerous manner with the Police trying to intercept them a helicopter tracking them (at about £2000 per hour) and all they get is a few hours community work which they will dodge anyway. This after risking the lives of everyone they passed on the roads .
I add that this refers only to motoring offences, drugs knives etc. seem to get the same tap on the wrist
