Have you ever tried red palm oil as salad oil?

I use palm oil when I was a chef, and while it has a nice flavour, it is not the best for salad dressings, olive oil, veg oil, grapeseed oil even nut oils like walnut or hazelnut are nicer, when chilled palm oil tends to congeal and be come harder, but you can add a teaspoon to you favourite salad dressing for the vitamins and minerals no problem.
