Have you ever seen a police chase where the guy gets away?

Like seriously, I was just watching cops and realized that I have never once seen one on there or Youtube or anywhere where the guy escapes. I know it happens sometimes, because there was some dude in like Oregon that stole a Ferrari and eluded the police, they got him like a week later but still...where are those vids?
 
They would never show the cops not get there man, on the first 48 sometimes they end it without catching the murderer but rarely. I've seen guys get away but not on TV ;)
 
Well I never saw a video of it but I know someone who did get away on a motorcycle. It was a long time ago though. It does seem pointless to run though, they almost always will catch you and then you get beaten up.
