Lady's have you missed you menstrual cycles?

am i weird? ( read below)
I went on the birth control shot in march and after a few months of not having my menstrual cycle i started to miss it.
I mean i was glad i didn't have to deal with staining underwear, wearing pads and buying them
but at the same time after having it for year knowing it pattern, i kind of missed it.
NOW i got my cycle back I'm jumping for joy ( mentally) i don't know why
i guess because i was fearing i messed up cycle forever or that little voice in my head what starting to say i was pregnant which with all the protection i used would be highly unlikely ( shot, vaginal spermicide, condom and pull out all at same time)
