I know your just trying to waste my time, but that is what YA is all about.
There is more inequality than ever before.
Wages are stagnant in the long run. Even in the short run prices are up, especially food and oil, unemployment is up to 5.7% and the labor participation rate for males has never been lower as people exit the workforce in droves.
There is more of an environmental crisis than ever before.
We have lost millions of manufacturing jobs, we have lost our retail manufacturing, firms are heading overseas and the ones that remain are being bought by foreign investors.
Wages have stagnated since we began freeing up capital and trade restrictions in the 1980s. We used to be a number one creditor nation, now we are the number one debtor nation. Many people are basically surviving by borrowing against future earnings. Looking at core essentials like, food, housing, medical, although many of these things were obtainable to middle class people, today 47 million can't afford health insurance.
Despite being left with peace and prosperity, Bush has so turned everything upside down that Mccain wants to start a war with Russia. We have a war in Iraq, maybe soon in Iran and the world hates us for violating treaties. Bush and McCain think it is fine if we no longer have habeus corpus, privacy in our effects, and they think the president has the right to indefinitely detain suspects without lawyers. In short, Bush has turned our free society to one of a dictatorship (although he has only exercised that right once).
I could go on about Bush's failure to deal with the important problems of his time like social security, education, Medicare, industrial development, poverty and the environment, but it will take too long.
