...falling. Everything is bad.? We are wealthier and freer than at any time in history. There is more prosperity than ever before. Why do they keep chanting like cultists about how bad everything is?

Allen, when do you plan on serving in either Iraq or Afghanistan, have you any plans to buy a house, do you travel much in your vetch - make long commutes, are you saving for college - our money's become worthless, do you have any plans to pay your share of the national debt, do you mind bailing out banks and business run with out government regulation or over sight - since VooDoo Reagan union busting, deregulation, things have been truly wonderful for the average working American.

Because the most powerful country in the free world is wasting trillions of dollars on an occupation which they call a war, and people have been murdered relentlessly for decades in a continent called Africa!
I could go on, but that one's big enough! Try getting out of your own selfish, cozy mind, and thinking about world justice.

What world to you live in. Not everyone is rolling in money like you are. We work for a living. Besides, whos whinning now. Sounds like you are.

Dems are born crying and just never get over it. It becomes a part of
there life style. They need to really get over the doom and gloom
outlook. For the past 7 years even though they hate Bush with a
passion. Not one damn dem stood out on the capital steps and
screamed for him to be brought down. So he must have been doing
something right. Its called things were fine, Until the dem media
started to tell the country things were bad. Now how does that work.

I know your just trying to waste my time, but that is what YA is all about.

There is more inequality than ever before.

Wages are stagnant in the long run. Even in the short run prices are up, especially food and oil, unemployment is up to 5.7% and the labor participation rate for males has never been lower as people exit the workforce in droves.

There is more of an environmental crisis than ever before.

We have lost millions of manufacturing jobs, we have lost our retail manufacturing, firms are heading overseas and the ones that remain are being bought by foreign investors.

Wages have stagnated since we began freeing up capital and trade restrictions in the 1980s. We used to be a number one creditor nation, now we are the number one debtor nation. Many people are basically surviving by borrowing against future earnings. Looking at core essentials like, food, housing, medical, although many of these things were obtainable to middle class people, today 47 million can't afford health insurance.

Despite being left with peace and prosperity, Bush has so turned everything upside down that Mccain wants to start a war with Russia. We have a war in Iraq, maybe soon in Iran and the world hates us for violating treaties. Bush and McCain think it is fine if we no longer have habeus corpus, privacy in our effects, and they think the president has the right to indefinitely detain suspects without lawyers. In short, Bush has turned our free society to one of a dictatorship (although he has only exercised that right once).

I could go on about Bush's failure to deal with the important problems of his time like social security, education, Medicare, industrial development, poverty and the environment, but it will take too long.

So what do you call what you're doing right now?

Oh that's right...whining.

Be quiet.

"We are wealthier and freer than at any time in history. There is more prosperity than ever before."

Wherever you came from, sounds awesome, but welcome to America.
