My dad is a boisterous happy person, always laughing and joking...and now he's startling quiet and serious, you can see the sadness. I made myself to tell him in an even voice, trying not to cry, as I watched his face turn into a painful expression...he just stood quiet looking away. I filled the uncomfortable silence...as I told him how he died etc.
