As an example, you reread your answer in Books & Authors, usually when it's too late to correct it, and realize you made some error?

Recently I wrote that Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1819 in one of my answers. Yea, right, as soon as she was born they just KNEW she should be the infant queen! I must have been sleepwalking. At least that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!
Here's hoping I'm not the only one....
If it's happened to you, did you leave a comment to correct it or not?
I mean you realize it when the question has either gone into voting or a best answer is already chosen. You can't edit then!
