Have you ever had a ghostly experience?

I don't know whether I was sleep or awake, but I felt something playing in my hair, I couldn't move so I assumed I was asleep but I could see my living room as if I was awake. So since I thought i was asleep I asked the ghost to braid my hair or twist it, since I am too lazy to do it. I couldn't see the ghost, but I heard foot steps. When I woke and told my mom about it she said that I was probably awake and that "the witch was riding my back". that is a phrase meaning you are paralyzed from sleep and can see and hear, but not move.
