I'm wondering about this because of two incidents I've had with the same particular dog.
Both times I've reported it but it hasn't seemed like much has gotten done about it. In reality my complaint probably ends up at the bottom of a stack of papers, but I have a real concern about the safety of this animal as the owner has admitted to me in passing "He doesn't like people much." all while straining to hang onto the leash.
I think that the very least this animal should be muzzled while in public but I continue to see it unmuzzled and still extremely aggressive and the owner seems to have very little to no control over the dog.
My question is how many complaints does it take before any action is taken by Animal Control?
Have you ever encountered an aggressive dog? Did you report it?
If you didn't report it, why not?
If you did report it, what were the results?
If nothing is done about the dog do I have any other options? I've called Police Services Information line but they've told me to contact Animal Control, which I've obviously already done..
