Have you ever deviated from a long-standing financial goal?

have had a financial goal that I have stuck to for almost 4 years now. Initially I had to pay $510 as a car payment each month, then recently I switched the loan over to a Line of Credit - thus I could pay as little or as much to it as I wanted.

I have not diverted yet but the past 3+ years have been very tight due to this. I see the benefit of sticking to it as it will be paid off one year from now and I will be free of it. Only problem is that it is starting to get very heavy.

My heart says to stop and just enjoy myself now but my mind says to stick with it and that I will be very thankful when its over. This decision is drving me nuts! lol.

Any advice? For some reason I have a very hard time taking a middle road,, Im kind of an all or nothing person and I dont see that changing on this...
***One thing that makes this so hard is that I have other projects waiting that are very pivotal in my life (renovating house to sell it and move). Just dont think I can keep up the payments and maintain my well-being.
