My daughter is 9 months old and we were in an accident today. I was rear ended while trying to turn a corner.

I took her to the doctor and everything checked out fine.

Now, I am starting to feel the results of the accident. My shoulder hurts from the seat-belt, and my neck and back feel like I have pulled muscles.

I am wondering, what are the odds that my daughter will feel the same way? I know babies usually fair better in accidents than adults, but do you think she will be achy too?

Take her to a good chiropractor. I was in a car accident at the age of 7, and although everything looked fine at the time, I was on painkillers until about 18, when I was old enough to find my own treatment. I wound up with neck and back problems which did a lot of damage.

I have and it was horrifying!

We were driving home from a doctors appointment and it was double lanes both ways. I was in the far right lane and the person next to me just came barreling in to my lane. It's amazing how fast your mind can work because I remember thinking "Let her hit me in the side, lose control of the car and not know where I'm going to land (the side my baby was on too) or swerve and hit this pole?" I chose the pole. I hit it going about 25-30 mph head on.

The air bags deployed... we were actually all okay. I was bit sore later but he never even woke up from his little nap.

My car was totaled though.

Thank God everyone is okay.

yeah when my oldest was 3 and my son was 5 months old, i was turning a corner and this guy was speeding and hit the side of our car, total wipe off, my leg was broken and i had a deep cut from the seat belt that need 12 stitches. thank god i have always believed in buy the best car seat you can buy and gettin the vic roads to check if its safe. my kids were not harmed at all, even tho the side they hit was right on my daughters side. there was so many cars on the road and we were so lucky to even live, 1st thing i did was try and get out but then i realized my leg was broken and i couldnt get to my kids. my husband was with me thank god and he was fine. i thank god everyday actually.

She might be, if she seems to act more fussy then normal i would say give her some motrin and then get her back to the dr. or since its friday i would get her into the er. But thats only if she is acting like she is in pain. my guess would be as long as she was in her car seat properly then she should be okay. I hope you start feeling better!
