To me a good video game is kind of like a good book. I enjoy the storyline, get to know the characters, and love the chance to escape into another world for a while. Sometimes when it's over it feels like a shame because I wasn't ready for it to end. 
I felt that way about Fable 2 (haven't finished Fable 3 yet, but that's why I'm taking my time with it), Oblivion, Mass Effect, and Bioshock. What game made you feel the same way?
