have video games become too easy?

Myself I think they have, these days while the graphics are excellent and it's easy to move around but most of these games take a couple days or a week to beat, now back when I was little I remember playing commodore 64 and atari with those god awful joysticks and they would take months to complete, if we could beat them that is, sometimes the graphics were so bad that I got killed by god knows what lol
