Hi well one place says "bacterial" at least one or more say Strep and another place said Staph can cause yellow on the culture. One might think that if yellow can show up on a culture it sure might show up yellow on a tongue especially if that germ was fed the sweets. Cultures in the past at least had various forms of sugar on them just to feed the bacteria deliberately to find out what the bacteria is when examined. If sweets are used the bacteria use it to their advantage. The sweets also hinder white blood cell movement. In order to be sure what a person has a cooperative health professional neeRAB to be found who is willing to culture the tongue. Have a nice day, hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

I have so many problems at the moment. What I'll do is list my symptoms and see if anyone has any suggestions. In the order that they bother me.

1. Burning sensation on my face
2. Acne (use benzoyol peroxide to fix this)
3. Yellow stain on tongue
4. Breath feels so hot / warm.
5. Feel as if there is a lump in the back of my throat.
6. Full of mucus, find it hard to swallow.

This heat sensation feels like my face is burning up, it happens more when I'm stressed / anxious about it but it can happen out of nowhere. It's also a lot more likely to happen if I'm in hot surroundings. I never drink tea / coffee because the thought of how hot they would make me...

The stain on my tongue is horrible, by the end of every day I have a horrible yellow stain on my tongue, whilst some fooRAB do exacerbate the condition I drink nothing but water and eat very healthily.

I thought the benzoyl peroxide might be responsible for the burning sensation but I stopped using it for 2 months and it was still there and my acne got much worse...

I always have lots and lots of mucus in my throat, every time I swallow it's as if there's a ball of phlegm in my throat :\

So far I've been to see 2 ENT specialists, 1 oral specialist (for my tongue) and it's as bad as ever. They presribed me with lanzoprazole to help with acid reflux which doesn't seem to be helping at all.

I've tried acupuncture and Chinese medicine for the heat intolerance too.

I also tried taking 1600mg of guaifenesin to help with my throat congestion but no luck :\

My thyroid reading was 16.6 but apparently the other thyroid reading (the reliable one that matters) was completely normal...

It's also worth nothing that I took anti-biotics for my acne, I never had any problems with my tongue / heat beforehand.

Any suggestions guys?

How about Candisis? Here are my symptoms again...

1. Burning sensation on face – Get’s worse when I’m anxious
2.Burning sensation in mouth – Hot breath
3.Yellow Stain on tongue.
4. Build up of mucus in throat, always feel as if there’s something stuck in my throat and have to constantly clear it.

Maybe I should see a oral hygenist?

Hi,
I think that all of your problems are coming from the head. I would try a good psychiatrist

Hi Perhaps a doctor would culture it. A dentist might do it but an oral hygienist is not qualified to diagnose oral disease. Have a nice day!

The tongue issue definitely isn't in my head!

Would you recommend SRRI's for my heat sensation?

Hi it is said that Bacteria, liver disease and HIV can cause a yellow tongue. I suspect bacteria might cause the acne also. Have a nice day!

Think I'm going to go back and see my doctor, if he has no more answers I'm going to see another doctor. If he has no answers I'm going to go on the SRRI's.

Hi I am sorry, I am clueless about what an SRRI is and I could not find any explanation immediately. Maybe you could explain? Is that some type of health care professional?

Another question, How are your teeth, are you able to chew the food very thoroughly to a cream consistency?

What kind of bacterial diseases? I have had blood tests done and my liver function is fine!

I feel hot when I'm even doing simple things like watching TV, there's like a constant buzzing sensation of heat going through me.

My teeth are fine, although the anti-biotics stained them. SRRI's are Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or serotonin-specific reuptake inhibitor[1] (SSRIs) are a class of compounRAB typically used as antidepressants in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and some personality disorders.

I notice water starts to taste like milk though because I have so much mucus in my throat.

Hi I see, I have not felt pills were all that beneficial in most cases. Sunlight is a known antidepressant if there is interest. Some people have used St. John's wort I am not sure about using it long term. Making other people happy or finding a way to benefit them may turn around and make you happier also. Have a happy day!
