have pearl gonna keep or buy E61 in an hour

I currently have a blackberry pearl right now. If you know my history you'll know that I have bought and played with just about every popular pda. I want to get an E61. Yes the "I" version could be right around the corner. Or even the E90. I had a bad/good experience with the n93i I just purchased and then sold for an absurdly low price. I need to continue to familiarize myself with the platform but trying to make sure its worth it. The dash and blackjack were fun but I hate memory management. Treo 750 and 8525 were awesome monsters but to much registry tweaking for my tastes. Pearl and 8800 have been my all time favorites phones. Well and the e61 that I owned when it was first released. I owned it a second time after the new firmware came out and the experience was great. I just didn't understand how/why it would nonchalantly close programs when I had only a few open at the same time ? Which in my eyes should be relatively simple multitasking. I also couldn't do simple thinks such as copy and paste links nor select any text within a web page to copy and paste. I guess it is all about what you're willing to sacrifice over the other. I also could never get smooth video no matter what super method settings I tried. I never got around to fully testing smartmovie but I didn't see good quality video that didn't stutter. There were some videos that it seems like it only stutterrd when playing full screen. Anyhow I think I'm leaning towards the e61 or wait for the 8300 blackberry.
 
I dont know man...my E61 could handle a boat load. This was a screenshot with the music player/gallery opened and an podcast playing...webbrowser was open via wifi...constant edge connection with my email account opened...contacts...call log..and a couple other things were opened at the time...what else do you need? I say go back to he E61 and drop that hurl....I ditched it for an E62 but I wouldnt suggest that....E61
 
E61 no question my friend. I have one on the newest firmware and LOVE it. As flawless an execution (software-wise) that I've owned. The only reason you MIGHT wait is for the E61i.....

the Pearl is ok too slow for my likings get a 8700 its the perfect BB or wait for the 8800 which has gps and better multimedia functions but worst qwerty kb and i personly hate the trackball
 
Well immediately after reading the second post from the user that said "i dunno man, I have a boatload of stuff running" . I bought the E61. I overpaid for it and I had to do NSS hacking to fix the keyboard mismatching (Finland model), So I returned it and got one locally for much cheaper . I'm camped out on E-series.org right now and Im like crapping my pants. Thank you all (overkill, I THINK SO!)

I used to have the E61, had it twice and now I'm using the Pearl. IMO, the Pearl is a lot lighter, smaller and has a faster GUI than the E61 however, the E61 GUI was more intuitive and it has wifi which I used a lot. Next up for me is the Blackjack.
 
Well i'm glad my screenshot helped. I spent a good amount of time with the pearl and the E61 and there really is on comparison! Good Choice and Enjoy!
 
That's going to be the toughest choice of them all. E90 vs E61i. E90 has the vast amount of landscape and high pixel count while the E61i offers a proven qwerty with all of the E61s shortcomings corrected....but the 80mbs of free RAM at boot are mindboggling. I still cant decide which one would be better suited for business. The good thing is that i'm an impatient fool and will buy the E61i and sell it when the E90 is released. Meanwhile, i'll be squeezing out every last feature of the N95! Wow this is going to be a good 6 months of cellphones eh?
 
WTF does cost matter when it comes to S60....."yeah...that's too much for an eightball...I think i'm going to hold out and see if a better deal comes along."
 
LOL exactly, my man, exactly.

My first concern was whether to go with the E65 or the N95 (for a good slider) but the problem, I realized, was ...HOW does one TYPE while in landscape mode with a non-qwerty keypad (ie web browser form entries, or being interrpted to text message while in landscape....) .... so THEN i thought, qwerty is best. I'm now looking for an E61i until the E90 gets released, at which point I will sell the clothes off of my back to get one.
