Have misplaced boat key - Yamaha outboard, can you simply purchase replacement...

...keys? I do have the spare.? Our boat has been parked now for almost 2 years (too much work!) and seem to have misplaced the boat key. I do have the spare but now am missing the original key with the safety tab that sits in below the key on the control unit. Can I simply purchase replacement from Yam dealer?
 
A locksmith can also make a new key. The locksmith I use will make a new key for $5 if you bring the boat down to him. $2 each for extra copies. I have also brought him doors off of airplanes to have keys made. I honestly don't see how he can do it that cheap. It takes me 15 minutes just to find a key that fits in the lock.
