I would just like a Christian perspective on this. It seems that now all Christians are interested in doing is condemning homosexuals. All the churches seem to be doing it and even in politics a small minority party here called the Christian party has very little policies about anything apart from being anti gay.
I can remember that when I was a child I used to go to church because I was brought up Christian. The services were always about helping other people and about good and constructive things. Sins were mentioned, but the issue of homosexuality was never approached, ever. Now Christians seem to be spending more time condemning homosexuality than they spend on helping the 3rd world countries, but it is not stopping homosexuality, it is just making an ongoing war between the church and the gay community which is actually damaging the reputation of the church - (as many of us are against anti gay people because we have gay friends or family).
