Have anyone been throught the name change process with the Civil Court?

How hard is it when you just want to change your name because you just don't like your original name? And when you went to see the judge for a name change, is the juror people?
Candy, can the fact that you just don't like your name be a valid reason? Can the fact that people thinks that you're a guy base off your name be a valid reason?
