have an e65 thinking about n95

I have an E65 now, a SE k790a before that and a n80 before that. So I am really missing the camera on the k790a but really like Symbian S60. I have a holux 240 which works great with the e65.

I use my e65 as my primary personal email, podcast, internet radio, rss feed, and news device as well as take pictures of the family on the weekends. When i travel for work I use smart2go with the holux 240.

So I am looking at the n95 and thinking, damn thats expensive just to have it all in one device and carry 1 charger when i travel. And then I think to myself, I should get it since I use my phone as my computer.

Is anyone else in this dillema?

Here is what the n95 gains are over the e65, please feel free to add.
Larger screen +.4 inches
native landscape resolution
camera - major gain here
built in gps
3.5mm headphone native
A2DP - not sure i will use it

Tell me your thoughts, should I go N95 and sell the e65? Should i stick with the e65 and carry the holux, the canon camera and all the chargers.
I am leaning N95

I've been waiting for the N95 like everybody else, but I couldn't resist buying the E65 first, primarily because of it's form factor. The E65 is arguably THE most solidly built cellular I've ever owned, and it works like a charm.

The lack of camera landscape mode and LED flash are not deal-breakers for me, because I rarely use the camera. I also don't mind using an external GPS, because that's another feature I'll rarely use. My primary regret with the E65 is the lack of scalable fonts for SMS, which could be resolved by Nokia quite easily.

For me, it boils down to having the things I use 95% of the time in a compact and reliable package, and the E65 fits the bill perfectly. Others want everything including the kitchen sink with them at all times. Different strokes for different folks.

Besides, I'd like to wait a month or so to gather feedback from N95 users. After my disappointment with the N80, I'm "once bitten, twice shy".

YMMV.

Couldn't agree more- I played with an N95 and E65 side by side. I'm not fussed about the camera, and I understand you can't currently use TomTom with the built-in GPS on the N95, so those were two points out of the equation.

But the clincher- the E65 just felt *so* much nicer- size, weight, build quality. The N95 frankly felt like a big lunp of plastic.

The E65 does eveything I want it to do- TomTom works fine, the phone is much faster than my old N73, and the VoIP works flawlessly. Having had both phones in hand, money to spend on the N95, I am completely convinced the right choice for me is the E65.

Just my opinion you understand, I'm not looking for a flaming from an N95 lover

I did not ask if it is any good. I am asking for what others have chosen and why. Examples of helpful responses to my post are alcatraz, gwapz, and IainC's responses, thank you for those. Responses from greenteeth and tkao2025 are useless to me.

Have a great day.

Ok...no need to get upset as it was just a joke, but the moderator did ask people not to post anymore new N95 threads. You could've easily asked this question in the N95 Review thread to get the proper answers.

Besides you've already answered your own question because you would rather not carry a camera and a phone, so N95 is better for you. But as you know it's not as good as a standalone camera.

well e65 is a very good phone if you want a all in one email wi-fi voip gps phone if you do take the n95 plunge your just getting a bigger screen, fm radio, internal gps antenna and a better camera. It's really your choice if you want to spend the extra cash to get a better package but if the camera, fm radio and you don't mind carrying around a bluetooth gps then stick with the e65.

i personally coundn't wait for the n95 so i got the n93i and i'm probaley gonna get the e65 to replace my t616. Just because i can't get another phone with no wifi and the e65 looks to be one of the most solid phone from nokia.
