Have Acne and use Retin-A. Please Help!

I am 16 years old and my acne started about 2-3 years ago. I have mild acne with breakouts that come and go. I tried proactive and that didn't do much. I am now using a clearasil cleanser and Retin-A. I've used them for about 3 weeks and I don't see any results. How long until I see good results from the Retin-A? Are there any other good products to use? Any experiences with Retin-A?

With retin-a i believe results take longer than 3 weeks.


Have you heard of 101E acne Gateway? ive heard nothing but raving reviews about it, and i ordered some for cheap from a well known website *Coughs*, waiting for it to arrive. (If you cant find it for cheap, expect to pay $30usd) Hopefully it works as well as everyone says. i was never fond of retin-a....

Also drink water, i found drinking 4 bottles of 16 ounce water cleared up my skin. The problem is im not fond of water so I find it hard to keep drinking the 4 bottles.
 
By 3 weeks you should be noticing some results, not good ones unfortunately. You may be experiencing some redness/itching/irritation/new pimples. I am on my 5th week of Retin-A and still have not noticed any good results, other than perhaps a little bit of fading of red marks. It takes about 6-8 weeks to notice good change.
 
Yea, I have some irritation and some fading of red marks. How long do you think it will take to see positive results?
